JACQUELINE GOMEZ
Hello
JACQUELINE GOMEZ
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
About Me
As Program Coordinator, Jacquie Gomez combines a lifelong love of animals with a background in veterinary medicine and a passion for helping people and their pets. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from UC Davis and spent eight years working in veterinary hospitals as a receptionist, veterinary assistant, and manager. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the emotional and financial challenges families face when their pets need care.
Today, Jacquie coordinates spay and neuter applications and emergency veterinary financial relief, helping Orange County families access care when they need it most. She is passionate about preserving the human-animal bond and believes financial hardship shouldn’t prevent families from caring for a beloved companion. Through her nonprofit work, she helps pets stay healthy and families stay together, approaching each interaction with empathy, compassion, and open communication. Outside of work, Jacquie enjoys time with her family and her dog, Spyro, who reminds her daily of the special bond between people and their pets.
