Orange County SPCA is now Orange County Animal Allies
A Legacy of Community of support
In 2019, we decidedly rebranded our name to Orange County Animal Allies to reflect our unique position in the animal welfare space and to more accurately convey our mission and vision.
The OCSPCA began in 1984 as a small group of dedicated animal lovers in Orange County coming together to form an organization dedicated to helping Orange County residents and animals. In 1987, we were granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and the Orange County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OCSPCA) was born.
With a continued focus on how best to serve the residents and animals in Orange County, we continue our innovative programs that focus on keeping animals out of shelters, and potential euthanasia. Today, OC Animal Allies provides solutions for spay and neuter, emergency financial support, education, wellness and other resources. Our programs bring hope to Orange County pet owners who often have nowhere else to turn for help.
OC Animal Allies is still the same independent, volunteer-driven, non-profit and is not affiliated with any other SPCA, including the ASPCA. We do not receive any funding from government or other agencies and our operations are entirely funded by the generosity of our individual and corporate donors.
